| Description: |
Oldmeldrum Golf Club is an open parkland 18-hole course that enjoys panoramic views over a large part of Aberdeenshire, from the Grampians in the west, to the coastal area in the east. Golf is recorded as having been played at Oldmeldrum for over a hundred years.
For a long time a nine-hole course, the course was extended to its present 18 holes between 1987 and 1989. With a par of 70 and measuring just under 6, 000-yards, it presents a varied and challenging test of golf, requiring accuracy from the tee and a good short game on the approaches to the small and tricky greens.
