The round starts on the high ground from which the Highland splendours are readily apparent, before dropping down dramatically with a thrilling par five to land in the Haugh encircled by trees.
This is the forerunner to a spectacular short hole with a green position close to the bank of the River Avon, followed by another splendid par four and finally, after a short climb a strong finishing hole.
The course has nine championship quality green and 18 tees with a par of 72, making it a challenging prospect.
