| Description: |
Alness is a superb parkland course overlooking the Cromarty Firth and the hills of Easter Ross and the Black Isle, with the closing holes running alongside the River Averon.
Extended to nine holes in 1997 and sitting at 4, 886-yards, it is reasonably short, but great fun all the same.
The small greens can be tricky at times and require delicate approaches. Good shot makers will score best on this course, although you will have to keep it reasonably straight off the tee.
